History Queensland has held a Local and Family History Fair every 2 years since its inception [as QALFHS] in 1995, with the first fair being held in May 1996.

Another big event to be held on Sunday 1st June 2008 at the Mount Gravatt Showgrounds 1644 Logan Road, Mt Gravatt Q 4122. Entry price is $10.

As in previous years a dinner event will be held on the evening before the fair. In this case the dinner is on Saturday 31st May at 6:30pm for a 7pm start. Details of the event and a booking form for the dinner are available here.
