This event provides an opportunity for Family and Local Historians to meet some of the many societies established to cater for their hobby. In addition there will be seminars and help desks. Refreshments available.

Fair speakers
9.30am Greg Cope, National Archives Australia
20th century immigration - "Populate or Perish", a snapshot of the history of immigration into Australia from the 1920s.
10.30am Myles Sinnamon, Queensland State Library
Basic searching of Convict Records including the convict database he has developed from the Home Office records, and a survey of material currently available.
11.30am Niles Elvery, Queensland State Archives
Records at Queensland State Archives relating to people of multicultural backgrounds.
1.30pm Shauna Hicks, Director of Shauna Hicks Enterprises, and a collaborative partner with
Gould History Group.
Shauna will speak about their new enterprise,
Unlock the Past.
2.30pm Paul Parton, Area Family History Coordinator, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
Paul, or a representative from Salt Lake City, will speak about
